Located in the San Baronto hills (Lamporecchio – Pistoia) at mt. 280 above sea level, on a Montalbano mountain spur as on a ships’ bow, our house dominates a wide landscape tooking in many art and culture towns and notable touristic places: Vinci, Leonardo’s birthplace, Lamporecchio home of famous “Brigidini” biscuits, Empoli with its’ ancient Collegiata Church, the Padule di Fucecchio Faunal Park, the famous spa of Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme and, very close to us, the ancient Castle of Larciano.

At the far South-West, the medieval towers of San Gimignano, and toward the far West, you can see the massive plateau of the Etruscan town of Volterra.

In the night from the Thyrrenian coast, you can see the lighthouse of Leghorn harbour constantly spinning.

When the air is crystal clear, you can even sight the impressive Monte Amiata mountain in Maremma!
